Tokyo: Disneyland

As a child, I never really liked Disney movies, so I'd never been to Disneyland before. Emilie had always wanted to go though, so we all went, and I actually really enjoyed it!

This was my outfit for the day (we all bought ears from the gift shop as soon as we arrived haha):
My eyes are half closed because it was so bright haha

Group picture (from Alex's camera, I think):
Squinting again because it was so bright :<

This rhino was somehow hilarious

Tinkerbell green tea 8D

Curry popcorn (surprisingly good)

On the way back, we came across one of those vending machines that recommends drinks to whoever stands in front of it.
It thanks you after C:

After, we all did purikura 8D

Tokyo: Shinjuku

Shinjuku is another place that's great for shopping. It's also where Tokyo Decadance was. On the day, I arrived about an hour before it opened, and even though all the shops were closed by this point, I had a lot of fun just wandering up and down the street the venue was on. It's very lively at night.

As for shopping, the main attractions (for me, anyway) are the department stores Studio Alta and Marui One. While most of Studio Alta doesn't really interest me, it is home to a Glavil/tutuHA, and Fernopaa (soooort of similar to Glavil). If you ever get the chance, definitely go to Fernopaa! When I was there, I met Amihamu, a shop girl whose pictures I'd seen online a lot:
I'm a huge fan of her make up. Not sure it'd suit me, but I want to at least try doing that style some day. Amihamu is just as adorable in real life, and super nice! It was really empty when I was there, so she just followed me around and chatted about bands and stuff while I shopped haha.

Studio Alta gets:
Fernopaa necklace

Fernopaa choker

Fernopaa skirt

The one on the left. It took me aaaages to find somewhere selling this!

After, I went to Marui One, which is mostly lolita and punk brands. I got a Black Peace Now lucky pack! :D For those that don't know, lucky packs are sold to clear items. You pay a certain amount, and the contents of the bag are random, but are generally worth a lot more than what you paid. The shop girl let me feel all the lucky packs so I could try to guess what was inside haha. I managed to get one with a skirt (rather than pants) this way.

This is pretty cool, but I honestly have no idea how to wear it, so I'll probably try to sell it (if anyone's interested, it's medium size).

The skirt I ended up wearing to Tokyo Decadance (but pinned up at the front)

Also wore this blouse for Tokyo Decadance

A couple of outfit shots and shoot results

Here are a couple of recent outfits~

I don't really know what was going on with this outfit haha, but I kind of like it.

And this outfit was for a J-pop night on Sunday. For no reason other than we both had the same socks, Dodo and I decided to dress with a circus theme:

Classiest pre-drinks ever. We tried to use the mint syrup to drown out the flavour of the Strongbow. It was horrific. I don't know whether to laugh or cry when I remember this.

And here are some photos from a couple of shoots I did in June:

Tokyo: Shibuya

Shibuya is a popular shopping and entertainment district. I really loved the atmosphere here; full of young, stylish people, with giant screens playing SNSD's new video/song.

Like much of Tokyo, it also looks really cool at night.

Some kind of matcha drink and a matcha macaron, from Starbucks.

Glorious taiyaki (custard inside this one) 8D

As much as I love Shibuya, I didn't buy that much, as it's mostly gyaru stuff, which I am not. Here's what I did get, though:
From Glavil/tutuHA. I really love this shop. Most of 109 plays obnoxious American chart music, but Glavil plays techno and stuff, and the whole shop is sort of like a club (the good kind).

Glad News oversized hoodie
The back has wings 8D

Tokyo: Harajuku

I went to Harajuku several times during our stay in Tokyo, and it has to be my favourite place to shop. As well as having tonnes of amazing shops, there are loads of fabulous-looking people around.

The station

Life is Burgers

Matcha cheesecake crepe. Was not expecting an actual slice of cheesecake in it ahaha. It tasted amazing, though.

Dom and I went to this amazing sushi place:

Different kinds of (free) green tea and drawer of chopsticks.

We ate loads because it was so cheap haha (Taking this photo from Dom~)

Harajuku gets:
Monomania necklace I've wanted for ages \8D/ I didn't think I'd be able to get it, as it was sold out online.

Angelic Pretty's Moon Night Theater JSK (from Closet Child)

Got Angelo's new single on the release date, and it came with a photo set 8D

Long out of print D'espairsRay CD from the VK Closet Child 8D

This is from Paris Kids, but Glavil/tutuHA was selling something almost identical for about 4 times the price haha.

Suspender-stockings (all attached together)

I'd needed a new bag for aaaages (all of mine were broken haha), so I was really happy to find this.
