America: Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park and movie studio. We went there on the last full day in LA, and it was a lot of fun! It's sort of like Disneyland, but with films/shows by Universal Studios.

The entrance to the Simpsons "ride", which was actually one of those simulation things where the car rocks around in front of a screen that surrounds you, but you don't actually go anywhere. It was really good, though! Despite the entirely unrealistic scenes on the screen, it still managed to make you feel like you were really on a rollercoaster.

Meeting Spongebob with my sister

Going to Jurassic Park 8D (This photo looks really posed, but in reality I just can't walk like a normal person.)

It was a (really good) boat ride. I couldn't get many photos because some of the dinosaurs spat water, so I had to put my phone away haha.

Haaaaaay

Getting eaten by Jaws :<

We had amazing frozen lemonade stuff whilst queuing for the studio tour. The tour started off kind of boring, just showing the outside of the studios, but then it started driving around old film sets and showing special effects (floods, fire, bullets etc.), which was cool.

The Grinch

A plane crash. I can't remember what film it was, but they destroyed a real plane for it.

America part 1

I really have no idea how I'm gonna organise the blogs on America, but here goes!

My impressions on (what I saw of) America: Basically, everything you see on TV is true. I don't know why I didn't expect this, but yeah. All the stereotypes of people you see in movies, too (even the ones that seem made up/exaggerated). The food portions are massive (and they wouldn't let me get kids meals :< ), and it was super difficult to find fruit (just about all the fruit I ate on the trip was on top of frozen yoghurt). People were super friendly (sometimes to the point that it was weird for me, because I am English and therefore miserable) and overall much more attractive than English people haha. Also most of the buildings are really short (especially in LA).

School bus

View from my hotel room

Breakfast buffet lol. Why do they call scones "biscuits", and why aren't they eating them with jam?!

Frozen yoghurt (it's in there somewhere!)

tokidoki eyeshadow from Sephora. I don't even wear eyeshadow, but the packaging was cute and it was on sale (poor reasoning here, shhh).

What's up dog

Got fake glasses just because they were so cheap haha.

It's a nice city.

Back from America!

This is just a quick post to let you know that I got back from America safely. It was a lot of fun, but I'm pretty sure I've doubled in weight (too scared to check the scales though haha).

I also got back to find I now have exactly 100 followers, so thank you all! <3

I'm too tired to write about the trip properly now, so for now here's a friend zone candy I had on the plane:

Off to LA!

...In a few hours, anyway. You probably won't hear from me until about the 5th. I'm not sure if I'll have internet access, but if I do, I'll probably mostly be updating my Twitter, so follow me on there!

Today, my mother came to London to have lunch with my sisters and me.
Stealin' my sister's clothes~

After lunch, we went to Camden to get ice cream from Chin Chin Labs. 8D
Blueberry waffle flavour

Punkyfish was having a closing down sale where everything was £5, so I got a few of things:
Oversize T-shirt

Skirt

Dress

LA, hair cut, gets, CODE NOTE

I got a (desperately needed) free hair cut yesterday! There's not much difference haha, but it looks a lot tidier! I would have liked it to be a bit shorter, but I'm kind of glad now, because I was enjoying having it long enough to be able to tie it up and stuff.

I don't think I said before, but I'm meant to be going to LA with my father and sisters on Friday! I can't wait!  I had a nightmare finding a bikini, though. After trying several shops with no luck, I looked online, and realised Boux Avenue have a London shop, so I went there. There was only one in my size. :| I really don't like how it looks on me, but I got it anyway, because I need something for beaches/water parks. I usually love this shop, but they're really not much good for swimwear. Here's what I got:

Also, I recently started using CODE NOTE! Are any of you on there? Here's my profile. C:

Other gets:
My sister gave me this as an early birthday present, because "I remember you saying you like round seals" lol. <3

Another gift c:
