newdress.com

Today I want to introduce a nice website to you guys! Although this is a sponsored post, these are 100% my own opinions.
newdress.com are an online clothing shop with a huge variety of cute, good quality products with low prices.
Last month, they contacted me offering to send me some products of my choice in exchange for posting them on my LookBook. They shipped my order out quickly, and despite using the slowest shipping method, my package arrived within three weeks.

The products all came together in one plastic envelope, and each item was wrapped separately inside, as you can see above.

The items I chose:

I'll post separate reviews with outfit shots for each product soon!

Review: Black Milk Tea Shop

Hello, everyone! I came back to London about a week ago, and am here until I move to Tokyo at the end of March.

I was recently sent a garter from Black Milk Tea to review. I'd just like to mention that although this is a sponsored review, these are my own, honest opinions on the product.

Service
The owner of the shop and I exchanged a few emails to discuss the sponsorship, and she was very friendly and always replied quickly.
I asked for it to be sent to my father's house in London, but this was while I was still in France, so I don't know how quickly it arrived. It was already there when I got back, so it definitely arrived from America in less than 2 weeks.

The garter arrived safely in a padded envelope.

The product
I was given the X-Garter.

Here's how it looks worn:

The front half of the garter is made of pleather, and the back is elastic so the size is adjustable. There are now three different sizes available, but there was only one when I was sent mine, so it's a little big  for me and I have to wear it slightly higher on my leg than I usually would.

Cute, heart-shaped clips

My inspiration for this outfit was witches, because I've been really into American Horror Story: Coven recently haha
Garter: Black Milk Tea
Dress: Asos
Necklace: Moi-même-Moitié

All of the garters in the shop are hand made, and it does show a little when you look closely, but it's barely noticeable when you wear it, so it's not really a problem. Everything is affordable, and there are lots of items catering to wearers of gothic styles, and also those who prefer a cuter, pastel look.

Juizywoozy

For a while now I've been meaning to post about Juizywoozy, a "kawaii fashion" brand based in Indonesia. The items are really good quality and very reasonably priced.

Juizywoozy were kind enough to let me choose some items to review~ They arrived very quickly (about 5 days after being shipped!) and well packaged. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout the order process.

Inside the main packaging, the two items were individually wrapped.

They also came with this cute packaging!

The items I ordered:

This bag is super cute and very well made. There are plenty of inside pockets and it's very spacious. I think it'd work really well with a sweet lolita outfit.

A little different to my usual style, but I love it anyway, and it's really good quality. The material is quite thin, as it's clearly supposed to be worn as a top rather than a sweater, so you can wear it in the summer, or layer it in the winter!

Check them out if you like kawaii or Harajuku fashion! Their website is having some problems right now, but you can still order through their Facebook page. You can also visit one of their physical stores if you're in Indonesia (addresses can be found on their Facebook page)!

Lens review: Vassen Dolly Plus (red)

I recently bought Vassen's Dolly Plus lenses in red from Pinky Paradise (they arrived quickly, as always!), and I'm really happy with them!

First, some info on the lenses (from Pinky Paradise):
Diameter: 14.5mm
Water Content: 42%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Type: 1 Year Disposal

With just one in to show enlargement:
(If you can see red on my face, it's fake blood, because I took this on World Zombie Day haha)

As you can see, the pupil hole is very big, and because the colour is strong, it doesn't blend very well with my eyes. It's not really a problem from a short distance (or when it's dark), though, and I'm very impressed by how well the colour shows up on my eyes, because red contacts usually just look sort of brown on me.

Design: ★★★★☆ - I love how well the colour shows up on my eyes!
Comfort: ★★★☆☆ - They're wearable, but I find they dry out my eyes quite quickly.
Enlargement: ★★★★★ - They are huge!

EOS Fairy violet lens review

About a week ago, I saw that PinkyParadise were having a sale on the EOS Fairy circle lens series. I'd wanted purple lenses for a while, so I decided to give these a try.

As usual, they came with a free animal case. 8D

I was really happy to find that they're very noticeably purple on my eyes! I had purple Geo lenses a while back, but they showed up so dark on my eyes that they pretty much just looked black.

Awkward, passport-esque photo haha

Comfort - These are probably the most comfortable lenses I've ever owned. I could barely feel them at all! EOS seem to be quite good at this; my red EOS lenses are super comfortable too.

Design - They don't blend very well with my eyes, so you can see some of my real eye colour quite clearly when my pupils are constricted, but they're light enough that from a small distance it's not too noticeable. These are the first unnatural coloured circle lenses that have showed up well on my eyes!

Enlargement - At 14.5mm they're not meant to be massive, but they still provide a lot of enlargement!

All in all, I'd definitely recommend these lenses (you should get them now while they're 30% off!).

Mini-review: Skeleton garters

I'm back from Paris, and it was amazing! Blogs coming soon, but first, I wanted to do a small review on the skeleton garters from Noctex that were waiting for me when I got back.

Here they are unworn:
As you may know, I already have these in black, and wear them all the time.

And here's how they look worn (with my new Chantilly OTKs):
I already have a couple of outfits planned for these, so expect pictures some time soon!

Postage and packaging: ★★★★★ - Despite her living in Canada, Noctex's items always reach me quickly, and are packaged very well.
Quality: ★★★★★ - Very well made. They also do a very good job of staying in place and keeping my socks up, unlike normal suspenders; I can wear them all day without having to adjust anything.
Design: ★★★★★ - I wish I could give more stars haha, I love these so much. I wear the black ones all the time, and I'm sure the same will happen with these ones. They're also very comfortable.

I really cannot recommend these enough. You can buy them here (they're limited edition, so hurry!).

GEO Angel brown lenses review

I finally got round to trying on my new circle lenses. I ordered them a few days ago from iwantcute, and they arrived about two days later.

They came with instructions, what I think is a hair tie, and a lens case (which is upside-down here, derp).

iPhone picture because my camera died before I could get a photo with my full face haha.

Design: ★★★★★ - These are easily my favourite circle lenses.
Comfort: ★★★★☆ - I could barely feel them when they were in, but my vision was pretty blurry for a while after taking them out (hopefully this only happened because it was the first time I'd tried them on).
Enlargement: ★★★★☆ - They're not huge, and they're not meant to be. They're exactly what I wanted from 14mm lenses.

I also like how they work with my eye colour. I normally have trouble finding lenses that don't look weird with my light eyes. They blend quite well, so even when my pupils aren't dilated, my natural eye colour isn't hugely noticeable.

Finally, here's an outfit shot:
